North Lincolnshire Gets Serious

North Lincolnshire Council today [7 February] backed Friends of the Earth's campaign for every community to play its part in the fight against climate change by pledging to slash carbon emissions in North Lincolnshire by 40 per cent by 2020.

Friends of the Earth's Get Serious About CO2 campaign is calling for a new, local approach to tackling climate change that would mean communities acting together to make their area a greener place to live and work.

Broughton Woods

In 2009 we worked with the council, the Woodland Trust and others to save parts of Broughton Woods from a plan to develop them as an extension to a golf course. We gave evidence at the Public Inquiry
